We are offering a paid internship opportunity for recent marketing or communications graduates. The Credit Benchmark internship is an excellent opportunity for ambitious graduates to learn about B2B marketing within a financial technology start-up in New York City.

The role

We have an immediate position for a paid full time internship for recent graduates. The duration of the internship is three months.
The intern will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist, as well as other teams from time to time. Exact responsibilities will be agreed in discussion with the successful candidate and will include a mixture of day-to-day responsibilities and also longer-term projects.

Key areas of focus

As part of the marketing team, the marketing intern will provide campaign and administrative support. As a marketing
intern, you will be required to work quickly and creatively, both collaboratively and independently, reporting on your progress and results. Assignments might include:

  • Research audience targets for lead generation campaigns across marketing channels
  • Helping coordinate lead generation campaigns across marketing channels (email, social media, conferences, etc.)
  • Managing and updating Salesforce, the company customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Managing the internal inventory and distribution of marketing materials
  • Assisting with content management (including website CMS)
  • Assisting with social media campaigns
  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives
  • Other administrative tasks

What we are looking for

Ideally you will:

  • Have studied Marketing or Communications
  • Have interest in B2B marketing and fintech
  • Have strong grasp of social media channels, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Have strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other office programs
  • Have Salesforce experience (a plus)
  • Have very strong attention to detail
  • Have very strong written and spoken English
  • Be eligible to work in the US
  • Available immediately for a minimum of 3 months
