With offices in London, New York and Bangalore, Credit Benchmark is entering an exciting phase of growth and product development.

The role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Banking โ€“ EMEA & APAC to expand our network of contributing banks and strengthen senior-level relationships across both regions.

The role will work closely with our established Contributor Relationship Management team, which supports approximately 20 contributing banks across EMEA and APAC. The Head of Banking โ€“ EMEA & APAC will provide senior-level engagement and strategic support, complementing the teamโ€™s day-to-day relationship management.

This position requires deep institutional credit risk expertise, strong commercial acumen, quantitative fluency and the ability to engage credibly with senior banking executives. Regular international travel and a strong preference for in-person relationship building are essential.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and secure new contributing banks across EMEA and APAC.

  • Lead discussions and negotiations with prospective contributors, navigating complex institutional requirements and approval processes.
  • Support and strengthen existing contributor relationships through senior-level engagement and strategic assistance.
  • Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue from existing and prospective banking relationships through new use cases or lines of business.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Marketing to identify new use cases, develop compelling value propositions and execute targeted initiatives that drive contributor acquisition, deepen banking relationships and expand commercial opportunities.
  • Prioritise face-to-face meetings with existing and prospective contributors, including regular travel across EMEA and APAC.
  • Represent Credit Benchmark at senior industry forums and contribute to broader business strategy.

  • Solid quantitative aptitude, with a good understanding of internal credit ratings, probabilities of default and credit risk models.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior credit risk executives and quantitative risk professionals.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and managing senior institutional relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong initiative and a collaborative working style, with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
